Love a James Patterson book for when you just want a reading page turning hit。 Nothing too complicated to follow, just a reading snack。

This was just an average book for me nothing too bad, other than killing off my favourite character a little prematurely and adding about 100 pages of unneeded filler。The ending/last 50 pages were easily the best most enjoyable part, it had the action and far-reaching consequences if the main character didn't stop the villain's plan from being carried out that I wanted/needed from the plot。Overall a decent read but it's perfectly skippable without missing any huge happenings for the Private seri This was just an average book for me nothing too bad, other than killing off my favourite character a little prematurely and adding about 100 pages of unneeded filler。The ending/last 50 pages were easily the best most enjoyable part, it had the action and far-reaching consequences if the main character didn't stop the villain's plan from being carried out that I wanted/needed from the plot。Overall a decent read but it's perfectly skippable without missing any huge happenings for the Private series。 。。。more

I received a free copy via Netgalley in exchange for a honest review。This is a fast paced action packed thriller。Although far fetched I could not put it down。It left me tired and breathless at the end。Maybe I should read the previous books in the series。

What can I say? This is one of the best JP books I have read in a while and is a nod to his original writing with kiss the girls。 This is a long and intricate story with many twists and turns。 I was kept turning pages until late into the night。 This is a must read!!!!

Not my usual type of reading, was bought as a present but i really enjoyed it。

Private Moscow is a change from the type of books usually read – an action packed, fast paced mystery thriller。 Although it’s the 15th book in the series, I think it reads well as a standalone。 The action never lets up as Jack Morgan, the head of Private, a detective agency with branches across the globe, sets out to hunt for the killer of his best friend and former marine, Karl Parker。 Meanwhile in Moscow Dinara Orlova, an ex FSB agent in the Moscow office of Private and her colleague, Leonid B Private Moscow is a change from the type of books usually read – an action packed, fast paced mystery thriller。 Although it’s the 15th book in the series, I think it reads well as a standalone。 The action never lets up as Jack Morgan, the head of Private, a detective agency with branches across the globe, sets out to hunt for the killer of his best friend and former marine, Karl Parker。 Meanwhile in Moscow Dinara Orlova, an ex FSB agent in the Moscow office of Private and her colleague, Leonid Boykov an ex police detective, are investigating the murder of Yana Petrova, who was killed in an explosion at the Boston Seafood Grill。 When it becomes apparent that the two cases are linked Jack flies to Moscow to join forces with Dinara and Leonid。After a slow start, the pace picked up dramatically as the danger intensified and I was gripped right up to the final high octane ending。 The short chapters emphasise the speed of the action。 There spectacular car chases, with violent shoot outs, miraculous escapes and fight scenes, and intense danger throughout as intrigues, conspiracies, old secrets and deep-cover agents are revealed。 It’s told through Jack’s perspective in the first person narrative alternating with the third person of the other characters。 It’s far-fetched, but also entertaining, like watching a fast paced spy movie/thriller and although I have never been to New York or Moscow I had no difficulty in visualising the locations。 Pure escapism! My thanks to the publishers for a review copy via NetGalley。 。。。more

3。。5⭐️ better than average espionage read!Jack Morgan is back and central to the plot this time。 He is rapidly drawn into a saga which is clearly going down the espionage/spy route when Russia features a few pages in。The downside was the fact it felt like it was being written by two people - not of the same style or quality。 There were places I was just stumped as to who’s writing I had just read。The upside it moves at an average pace and then the last 1/4 flies - all the expectations of a Russi 3。。5⭐️ better than average espionage read!Jack Morgan is back and central to the plot this time。 He is rapidly drawn into a saga which is clearly going down the espionage/spy route when Russia features a few pages in。The downside was the fact it felt like it was being written by two people - not of the same style or quality。 There were places I was just stumped as to who’s writing I had just read。The upside it moves at an average pace and then the last 1/4 flies - all the expectations of a Russia v USA confrontation explodes and I read the last 1/4 in an hour。 Above average, I enjoyed the Jack Morgan role and the overall resolution。 No rush to read but a good spare for in between。 。。。more

5*Definitely the best Private novel to date

Absolute loved this book。 James Patterson knows how to write a awesome book and it looks like Adam Hamdy does as well。 It was a fast paced Adrenalin filled book。 ILoved the same old gang from private。 The only problem I had was reading some of the Russian names。 A top book and highly recommended。

Great read was hooked from the first page to the last page。 Have read a few James Patterson books over the years and this book hit all the marks, thrilling, fast paced。This book can be read as a standalone。Jack Morgan is with his best friend and former marine when he is killed, his wife asks Jack to find his killer but with a link to a murder in Moscow Jack is on an international hunt to find out just what is going on。

First novel I’ve read in the Private series。 Felt too long, struggled to keep going。 Included a lot of details throughout that seemed so unnecessary, like what car they were in and the details of whose car it was。 And how cold they were all the time。。。 it’s cold in Russia, we get it。。。Enjoyed the last third where pace picked up。

Lots of punching and running。 Fine if you like that sort of thing。 I found the conspiracy, when revealed, rather unoriginal and the characters - particularly the Russians ones - a series of stale stereotypes。 A good book to read when you're running out of books while on a camping holiday Lots of punching and running。 Fine if you like that sort of thing。 I found the conspiracy, when revealed, rather unoriginal and the characters - particularly the Russians ones - a series of stale stereotypes。 A good book to read when you're running out of books while on a camping holiday 。。。more

My hit and miss series - 3*I do adore the Private series because I adore Jack Morgan and I have since Private - which will always be my greatest accidental book。 I only rated it 3* because the plot was okay and did get a bit exciting but I didn't really the head of Moscow so couldn't get behind。 My hit and miss series - 3*I do adore the Private series because I adore Jack Morgan and I have since Private - which will always be my greatest accidental book。 I only rated it 3* because the plot was okay and did get a bit exciting but I didn't really the head of Moscow so couldn't get behind。 。。。more
